We love it! We’ve been on CPS Time Systems for a few years. Before we had to input our timesheets manually, which, with over 200 employees, took hours. Since using Time Systems, we’ve cut the amount of time we have to spend doing payroll timesheets at least 75%.
With Time Systems, you select the pay period, make the adjustments you need and it’s done. Our managers can check times on a daily basis. This is a real advantage since you don’t have to wait until the end of the month to make adjustments. For us, the immediacy and accuracy are the great features. There’s no way we would ever go back to a manual system.

It’s accurate and pretty simple to use. We’ve had Time Systems about a year and I wish we had switched years ago. We had another time clock before; it wasn’t attached to the Internet. It had problems with accuracy because of that. I had a lot of problems with the software. CPS Time Systems is pretty simple. I have not had any problems and my employees haven’t had any problems either.

We love the ease of integration between the Internet-based program and bringing it into Millennium, the payroll module. We have never had a problem from day one. Before, we had manual timesheets that everyone turned in. They had to be manually calculated, which was time-consuming. Now, not only is this aspect eliminated, but individual employees can see what time they clocked in and out and whether they are missing time punches.
The system is also very flexible. It has allowed us to make various specific modifications that are customized to how our company is set up. For instance, it has allowed us to have the flexibility of not calculating overtime until employees have put in the required number of hours per day.
The accuracy was one thing we liked as well as the time-saving. Because it’s internet-based, it allows the staff in our satellite offices to also clock in and out, thereby eliminating the need to have them fax in their timesheets. I wish we had had this system a long time ago.
